You must send us the construction compliance statements:

• CS4 Construction monitoring

We will then confirm by email that we have accepted the statements and that you can apply for a connection.

1. Email compliance@water.co.nz with your project details and request a quote for the connection.

2. We will obtain a quote from the network maintenance contractor and send it to you within 10 working days.

3. Accept the quote and return the email.

4. We send you an invoice.

5. Pay the invoice.

6. Our contractor will contact you directly about the timing of works and disinfection.

7. The contractor connects the pipe.

8. We send you a letter confirming that the connection has been done, and a list of required documents.

9. Send the documents, with the confirmation letter, to compliance@water.co.nz

10. We send you a Certificate of Acceptance.

Standard (non-complex) connections for gravity pipes can be done by a licensed/certified drainlayer.

If your work involves a connection to a pressure sewer system or vacuum system, or needs isolation or significant flow management, our network maintenance contractor will do the work.
