What's happening?
Water and wastewater upgrades will be done in Franklin Road and Collingwood Street, followed by road corridor upgrades by Auckland Transport. Using a ‘dig once’ approach, we are working with Auckland Transport, Vector, Chorus and Auckland Stormwater to do the upgrades during 2017.
What are the benefits?
- Upgrades will allow for future population growth
- Reduce overflows during wet weather affects
How will project works affect you?
Franklin Road attracts large crowds every year for the Christmas lights. In order to minimise disruption, we will make sure no works will be done on Franklin Road during this time.
